Starting from Stone age which actually existed in 3 groups initially early stone age then comes the middle stone age where stone weapons were refined and were given some shapes and the last was final stone age where homo-sapiens start living in organized way the stone weapon were sharper and more into shape.They learned the technique of cultivation and starting growing wild plants for food.
Then after the stone age their comes our Ancient civilizations.In India was Indus Valley Civilization also known as harappan civilization which is thriving along river Indus and some part is in Pakistan.
The civilization were organized, their was no metallic money at that time so the trades were carried through barter system(exchange of goods).
Proper town plannings were done roads were well cut. street light were found and quality materials were used in construction of houses.good drainage system it shows the developed sense of sanitation.
A dockyard has been discovered at lothal used for trades.Every merchant family used to have their own seal which represents the ownership of property and some sealed objects were found at mesopotamia from harappan
Main object of worship was the Mother Goddess. But the upper classes preferred a god, nude with two horns,much similar to Pasupati Siva. Represented on the seal is a figure with three horned heads in a yogic posture. He is surrounded by an elephant, a tiger and a rhinoceros, and below his throne is a buffalo. Near his feet are two deer. Pashupatinath represented male deity.
At Kalibangan and Lothal fire altars have been found. Trees(peepal), birds(pigeon) were also worshiped.
